 John Thompson joined the Foundation staff as a Development Officer in June of 2012. John is a recent graduate of Mississippi State University (MSU) where he attained his Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management and Masters in Counselor’s Education/Student Affairs. During his tenure at MSU, John served Mississippi State’s student body in a variety of leadership positions ranging from serving on the Student Association’s executive council to president of the Roadrunners (a prestigious student recruiter organization). Also as an undergrad, John was awarded the Spirit of State. The Spirit of State is the highest award a student can receive at MSU. It is a distinct honor created by the Division of Student Affairs that recognizes students who have made significant contributions that improve the quality of life at MSU. John is a Proud Phi and looks forward to serving the Fraternity and Foundation in all its efforts.
